PICU
The Grayson Dunham Foundation, Inc. supports the Riley Children's Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where Grayson spent his final time. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Riley Hospital has always held a special place in our hearts as they have provided the upmost care to many of our own family members and friends.
Riley Hospital for Children was named as having one of the highest acuity patient populations in the United States. Children in the PICU come to Riley from cities and towns all across Indiana and the country. Many of the interventions, procedures and treatments provided by Riley physicians is not capable at other hospitals. The Riley PICU cares for approximately 2,500 critically-ill infants, children and adolescents per year. We are thankful for the physicians that provided care and support to Grayson and our family during our time at Riley.
Community Support
The Grayson Dunham Foundation also supports families who have suffered child loss. We hope that we can help provide support to bereaved families in a variety of ways to show that their child will never be forgotten.
Meet the
Founders
Grayson's parents, Brent and Kayla Dunham, are using their voice to advocate and raise awareness by sharing Grayson's story. By educating others about hemolytic uremic syndrome, E. coli and food safety, and guiding others through child loss, they are turning their tragedy into a positive motivation to help others who too are suffering the same heartache.
Brent and Kayla live in Indiana with their daughter, Graysie. Brent is a mechanical engineer, and Kayla is a stay-at-home mom who also runs Kayla Dunham Photography and blogs about their journey through life, love and loss.
